Help! What do I get my pregnant friend?

My friend is pregnant with her first child and her birthday is coming up. She’s 10 weeks along and I wanted to buy her some items to help with her pregnancy. What items helped you with your pregnancy?

Personally, I wouldn’t want baby items for my birthday. Especially when I’m only 10 weeks - does she even know the gender yet? You can get gifts for her baby shower. I would get her something along the lines of a spa gift card or a nail salon gift card. A self-care goodie basket. Anything like that. When I was in my first trimester, I had such a hard time. I was really sick and I felt terrible about myself because of how much my body was changing. All I wanted was to get my hair done or my nails done - anything to make me feel better. She may also be having a good pregnancy so far, but either way you should get her something for herself and not the baby.

Chocolate, bubble bath, body butter or belly oil, sour candies are good for nausea, gift certificate for a spa day or even just a mani/pedi. 
Really anything to pamper her and make her feel good during pregnancy is a good gift.

Ask her what she’s into snack wise. Then get that. Maybe a bar she can stick onto the side of the tub so she won’t get out when she has a big belly.

Feeling attractive while pregnant is not easy, so having clothes that flatter a bump really helps confidence. 
My cousin sent me a maternity sweatshirt, that has an added area for once the baby's born it can zip into my sweatshirt for kangaroo care. I wear it everyday.

Have you talked to her about how she is feeling? Like..if she isn't sleeping well you could buy her a oregnsncy pillow! Or you could get her a lotion bundle for stretch marks. You could also get her gender neutral clothing or maybe a keepsake picture frame.
