Line progressions

I’ve heard on this app that line progressions aren’t really a thing, but can someone explain this to me. It makes sense to me that as your hcg increases your tests should get darker?? Mine looks the exact same on FR but my cheapies look darker 😭 why is one test getting darker but the other is the same?? I’m scared of having another chemical, I’ve had 2.
