5 days past 5 day frozen embryo, can I test at home ?

Hi everyone, my frozen transfer was on Wednesday Jan 27th, my blood test is this Friday, do you think I can test at home? If not when is a good time to ?

I waited until 6dp6dt I got my positive. I know one friend didn’t get theirs until 7 days and some take even longer. I knew testing at 6 days there was a high chance of it being negative and I wouldn’t worry until I was close to beta day.

I think the question to ask yourself is: would it stress you out more, or less to test? If you test early and get a false negative, with that discourage you? 
I tested at 4 or 5 days last transfer which worked for me, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend to everyone

You can. A lot of ppl discourage it but I did after my transfers and found it gave my anxious mind a bit of peace. The key is to get a highly sensitive test, like one that can detect HCG levels at 25 or less—like First Response Early Result. I tested positive at 5 days past transfer in two pregnancies using highly sensitive tests. 
Not as accurate as a beta, but pretty accurate.

My clinic wants me to test on day 11 and 13 post FET only (no blood test at all, in UK). I have those two tests from the clinic, and gave hubby all my others and told him to hide them!

Can you? Sure. Should you? Maybe not. If you get a false negative, how badly is that going to stress you out or upset you? Many women don’t get a positive until days after (some don’t until day 9). I tested that early because it wouldn’t bother me, but many women in here have regretted doing so. Go with your gut!
