Ovulation test recommendations?

Question

Think I am finally starting my period after spotting for several days. 
Want to use ovulation tests this month, have heard good things about the smiley face ones. 
How do they work? Is that what you ladies would recommend? Want to make this month count, it will be month two TTC and I’m pretty lost.

I love the easy@home and PreMom strips. Both can be purchased from the same site. 
Now, there isn’t anything special about the strips but the app that analyses them is amazing. Other strips don’t work well with their app. It takes the picture perfect every time and analyses them dead on every time. The app captures them so well that I don’t keep my pee sticks anymore. I use to keep them for progression comparisons but the app does that nicely. Here is a screen shot.
