What’re your favorite old wives tales?

we’re not finding out the gender until birth but we’re going to make a game out of old wives tales to predict. Any that you recommend? We’re doing the ring on a string and baking soda test so far.

Skin quality- dry is boy, glowy is girl
Where your carrying weight- in the front only is boy, hips and butt is girl
Hubby sympathy weight- if he's gaining along with you it's a boy, staying the same or looking better means girl
There's alot but those are what I can remember.

Here’s all my wives tales & NIPT just confirmed I’m having my 2nd BOY. So I’ll never believe these again lol. Very different from my 1st pregnancy which was also boy.

I obsessed over old wives tales for my first two since we didn’t find out with either until birth. They were all wrong and so was the Chinese gender chart. A family friend was the only one to correctly guess that both babies would be girls and she did it based on my complexion. She said when you’re pregnant with a boy, your complexion gets kind of gray and sallow and with a girl you glow and have more color in your face.
