What week would you recommend doing a 3D ultrasound?￼

I had one at 27 weeks and it would’ve been fine if baby had cooperated, instead of having both hands and both feet up at its face lol

I'm doing one Saturday for gender at exactly 15 weeks. But each website should give you a idea of what you will see at each stage. It really depends what you want to see as the parent. If you want a gender usually you shouldn't go before 15 weeks. If you want to go later when baby is bigger they tell you usually before 27 weeks if you want the full body in the photo. If you go after the photo will not be fully body. You will only get head or head and torso. I usually do 15, 27 and again at 34 ish so you can see baby's face and get a peak of what they will look like when they come out. ❤️ So it just depends what you want out of your session.

Most places that do them will have a time frame chart. You’ll put in your due date and it’ll give you days that would be a “good viewing” and the “best viewing”. The one I’m looking at now shows week 27-30 to be the best viewing. 🙂

Definitely waiting until the third trimester but early enough that you can schedule another if you dont get any pictures. My last pregnancy they started to look around 24-28 weeks but could never get a full picture so they tried every ultrasound after that
