Midwife brew??

Have anybody heard or seen someone do the midwife brew ? Is that even safe??

God no. It has castor oil. It can make baby poop inutero and they can breathe that in. You should just wait and go into labor naturally.

It is not safe. It gives you terrible diarrhea and can also make baby poop in the womb, which they then “breath” in harming the lungs

Talk to your doctor because some will approve you to use it if youre monitored. I personally wouldnt but ive seen moms get approved to take it and have successful deliveries

Nope. Search it using the feature on here and read through comments of people who nearly lost or did lose their baby. There is zero reason for doing it.

It’s only safe after a due date and if your body is ready for birth. I drank it with my second. There wasn’t ￼meconium in my amniotic fluid, baby was fine and healthy and it didn’t cause me to have ￼diarrhea. I didn’t drink it with my first and I had meconium in my fluid with him. There’s no way of telling if a baby will have their first stool in your womb or not. 
Also, there is no link to drinking it and the baby having their first stool in the womb. 
It’s never recommended to drink it before you are due or if you body isn’t showing any signs of unproductive contractions. 
Always always seek advice from your OB before!
