High blood pressure?

Hey I’m at my 38 week prenatal appt and they took my blood pressure and it’s 144/91 .. is that too high? He didn’t really say anything and said “I’ll be right back let me get the doctor” 😓

Yes it’s high. They should take it again before you leave because a lot of people get “white coat syndrome.”

That’s a little elevated but it’s not concerning for just one reading- some people have a raised level just for being at the appointment..
It’s concerning if you have multiple high readings in a row, or very high readings. 
Wouldn’t worry..
