I love being a stay at home mom but my husband wants me to go back to work. I don't mind either since my daughter will be going to school soon but we are expecting another on the way and i don't want to miss those baby years with him/her either. For our first I went back to work after 1 month and had such bad anxiety. I was also sad, I felt I missed out on her baby years cause it seemed like she grew so fast. I dont want to miss that with this one by working so much. Also, it's not like we're living pay check to pay check. We're doing fine and we have a decent amount in savings for emergencies. He makes enough but says it would be nice if I worked too so we can save for our retirement and our kids future. I agree with him but I wish I can make him understand that I don't need to go back to work right away. Any SAHM in here have a retirement plan? Do you think your husband's 401k will be enough?
