Does this seem fishy?
My boyfriend and I had been together 3 months when I got a message from a guy we use to go to school with. He was asking me how long my boyfriend and I had been together, and I was answering him just to see what he wanted. After asking a few more questions about the relationship I had with my boyfriend he randomly texts saying I'm being cheated on then sends me screenshots of another girl bragging to him about how my boyfriend was trying to get with her behind my back. I asked if he had any screenshots of my boyfriend actually talking to her and he said he did but they got deleted. At this point I was confused on what to believe and didn't want to accuse my boyfriend without prove other than he said she said. I did end up asking my boyfriend about it though and he got super defensive, started texting me multiple times in a row about how she's lying. He told me it was his ex saying those things even though I didn't send him the screenshots or mention to him who told me. He ended up giving the girl my phone number and had her call me to tell me they hadn't been talking, which I also thought was strange. I got over it at the time but now thinking back I feel like they definitely were talking, possibly seeing each other behind my back despite her knowing we were together. Just doesn't make sense why she would say those things if they weren't true. Doesn't make sense how without mentioning the girls name he already knew who it was when I asked if he had been talking to someone. Doesn't make sense why he would give her my number and have her call me trying to reassure me that they weren't talking.
Might be helpful to mention that before him and I were officially together I found makeup and earrings in his bed one day and he admitted they were hers but that he recently found them from when they dated before. I'm sure I was stupid to believe that too.
