I’ve had three unmedicated births. I’m not hear to glorify or demonize them. They were all over the place: horrendous with almost four hours of pushing, supremely fast before doc even arrived, and somewhere in the middle.

I *think* I could do it a fourth time but also

at this point I know nothing in motherhood is a contest, there are no awards, just so what you think is best for you.

So...the hospital where I live now offers nitrous. Has anyone had experience with this that they could share? Especially if you have an unmedicated birth to compare it to?

I’m thinking I could try this, otherwise go full epidural. This is my last baby! Might be fun to not be in extreme pain the whole time. :)
