My son woke up at 3am, and refused to go back down. He wet the bed, which ended with pee on me. We tried co-sleeping with him latched to my boob. But it was so itchy I couldn’t sleep. I even tried switching for the pacifier. But he just took the pacifier out and latched again.

Then when we finally committed to waking up, we go have breakfast. My dog has recently started barking at my son now. (Even when they’re nowhere near each other.) so I’m not sure what’s going on there. (Probably going to have to hire a dog behaviorist.)

Now it’s shower time to get rid of the pee. I’m in the shower with him, and I’ve already used the water to remove breakfast from him. So I don’t mind that he starts letting the tub fill up. I lay down in the shallow water while my son keeps running back and fourth. Suddenly I hear him grunting. And....poof! There’s green poop floating in the tub. I stand up immediately and start draining the tub, while my son continued to poop. Ughhhhhhhh

Once I knew he was done I took him and me out of the tub to let the water drain faster.

Well, it can only get better from here right?
