So I finally met my new doctor and I’m firing her. Any one else have a bad first experience? She ARGUED with me about my weight loss. She told me if I’d lost as much weight as I said I’d feel worse. Considering I was in the hospital two days before I would say I feel super bad. She reweighed me without all my outer wear on and was like oh you have lost a lot. She also didn’t listen to any of my other symptoms or review my chart before she came in to see me. Her nurse miss advised me on some of my meds which could have had me feeling better weeks sooner. The more I think about it the more angry I am. Luckily there are several of my friends who see other providers at the practice so I can switch to one of them. I’m so glad I have family in the medical feels who have taught me to advocate for my own health.
