Type 1 Diabetics TTC?!?!

Question

Is there anyone else here that has type 1 diabetes and are ttc, pregnant or had a baby? I would really like to know everyone's experiences with it.

I am a type 1 diabetic with complications and high risk. I am 6w1d pregnant. Have had 2 other pregnancies that ended in losses one at 20 weeks and one an early miscarriage not due to diabetes or complications from my diabetes. I never thought in a million years this would happen and at the age of 37 about to turn 38 I got  my positive. Really praying and hoping this pregnancy is healthy and safe! Seems to be going okay right now and pray it stays that way.

Hey there. Type one for 21 years now. I have two healthy kids. Both conceived after age of 25. Best advice I can give you is stay on top of your sugars but nights ends lows will happen. Correct it and move on. Don’t dwell on it as the extra stress can cause more problems. Both my kids are c section babies. With my first i was induced and it was a horrible experience that ended in c section anyway. So second I opted for elective c section. Less stress and I had a better idea of what to expect. I am now pregnant with baby #3 who will most likely be pour last due to my age and the way this country is going, but so far so good.

I’m T1 abs my son is about to turn 3 months! I had a pretty smooth pregnancy, although it was an IVF pregnancy due to unexplained infertility. Best of luck!

Hi! I have type 1 diabetes. Unfortunately my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage but I am pregnant again. Keeping my fingers crossed! I am only 5 weeks along now. I was told to maintain an A1C at or below 6.5%.
