So I’m high risk, due to having PCOS and having a miscarriage in November, I’ve had two miscarriages total and two healthy children as well. I’ve been taking metformin and did a round of fertility pills in January. I had an appointment last week for a follow up on the fertility meds, I just happened to get a positive pregnancy test tht morning. So they did the blood work to confirm and called in some hormone medicine. Well today I call to set up my first prenatal appointment and they don’t have me coming until I’m 8weeks even though I am high risk. This is after my dr told me he would see me early and do an early ultrasound. I just feel like 8w isn’t early Thts when you would normally be seen. Just wondering if anyone here is in the same situation and when your first appointment is? I plan on calling Thursday when I know my dr is in and asking if I can get an earlier appointment. Tht way they can go ask him when I need to be seen. Also both my miscarriages were before week 8. So really concerned.
