Those who use/like the Elvie pump?

I am thinking about getting the Elvie but can’t decide if I just want one or two! I plan to just use it when I need it, not to use it exclusively (I want to breast feed, but also use spectra pump). I mainly need it for when I go back to work as I’ll do home visits and may need to pump while driving. What would you recommend!?

I’ve been researching this forever to see if it would be worth it. I’ve never used it but after my research I decided going with the Baby Buddah which has a more power pump and is also portable also you can change the bottles out to use the Freemie breast milk collection cups to have the same elvie discretion. Best of all you can find the Baby Buddah for $189

I hated the medela pump as it was soo loud and I had to be attached to the wall. I ended my pumping journey early because of it

I personally think it is way too expensive if one is not planning on pumping regularly (here in Sweden is costs ~830usd). I got a medela pump very cheap and barely used by a couple who had twins, and generally a lot of new mom's have told me that they ended up using the pump less than expected. There is one called the Haakaa pump that I've heard a lot of good about as well, and it's much cheaper. I think if you are planning on using it only now and then, it might be just as good to just go with the more common ones on the market.
