Maternity pictures around 31 1/2 weeks?

I booked my maternity photos for 31 1/2 weeks, is this a good time frame of is this too early?

Answer

It’ll depend on your body. For me, I originally had them scheduled for 33, but I was still tiny so we pushed them back to 35. I’ve grown the most and quickest since 30 weeks, so the extra two weeks helped. Ask your photographer how flexible they are in case you need a few more weeks for your bump to fill out - mine was super sweet to work with and made herself as flexible as she could with her schedule!

For this pregnancy We had planned on 31 weeks but it’s going to be too cold so pushing a week to 32.  We waited till 35 with our first and barely got them back before labor.  I think it’s fine to do earlier before the last few weeks of complete discomfort:
