Postpartum?

Question

When you guys went to your 6 week appointment what did they do? With my first, they did examine my vagina because I had a tear. This time, I didn’t tear but I did have a postpartum hemorrhage a couple hours after birth. Will they still examine my vagina or what will they do?

I had tearing and stitches and didn’t get an exam, we just discussed birth control, how i was feeling, and if I was having any issues and I wasn’t so there was no exam necessary

Examined my vagina, make sure the tear healed and the stitches dissolved and to make sure my cervix had closed up again. Asked questions, stated concerns. That was pretty much it for my PP appointment.

I had a c section, they just asked how I was feeling. I think it was like a 10 minute appointment.
