When are you telling work that you’re expecting?

Curious as with my first, I told my company later on in my pregnancy once I was starting to show (since I was going into the office), but now since I’m working from home full time, I’m on the fence about when to share the news. Considering telling sooner rather than later as my boss was and is very supportive of families 👍

I told them at 8 weeks. I told them about my MC & the gave me as much time as I wanted off, sent flowers, & were very kind. 
I work for a great company & they do everything to make pregnancy as best as they can in the work environment for us.

If you have a supportive job I’d tell them now. I don’t see why wait. Even if something were to happen you’d have a supportive work environment to allow you time.

I told my company at 12 weeks. I wanted to wait until my safe period but I’m also the director and couldn’t wait any longer than that for planning purposes.

I told pretty early on. The morning sickness was kicking my ass this pregnancy and I had some days where I was a bit late coming in.

I told them pretty early, my boss has been great and supportive flexible with days I've been feeling not so great. She's also aware of my previous miscarriages so I wanted her to know in case I go through that again.

I’ve been working for the same company with the same boss for almost 9 years, so we are really close. We work in HR and part of my job is to process all the maternity leaves for my company. So, I told her like as soon as I found out. She also knew we were trying for baby #2.
