After 7 years he's back and he's making quite a statement... he DMs me out the blue asking for a meeting with our 9 year old. He was a pretty good dad as far as interacting with her he just can't stick around. I set up a meeting at a nearby park, I've done this in the past he never showed but this time he did with his girlfriend.

This was odd to me but I digress, they play about 45 mins while I watched from a safe distance. When it's time to go he says he'll be in contact, I didn't believe him but 20 mins later I get a long DM from him. It's full of demands, I reiterate who I am and encourage him to be more of a parent instead of a tyrant. I secretly feel like this is the girlfriends doing. My daughter decided she wanted to spend a weekend with her dad, she thought it would only be with her dad. Apparently he and the girlfriend don't live together, my daughter said they were having a good time until the girlfriend showed up when she came all the fun stopped. My daughter said she took control; bedtime was 830, she had chores and she had to eat what was available even tho she is a vegetarian. For the remainder of that time all my daughter ate was mashed potatoes. She came back asking me to talk to him about her, that's a slippery slope not really my place but I have to for my child. I did have a conversation with him about who our daughter is he didn't understand the vegetarian diet but he didn't oppose it he also doesn't understand how she gets her nutrients without meat. My husband does not like this at all he just wants his baby girl back he feels like there's no common ground with them so what can I do?
