Coronavirus and pregnancy???

OMG 😪 i am so scared rn . my sister who has coronavirus just came to my house , i live with my mom but still she has coronavirus and just arrived like 30 min ago. I thought it was someone else but come to find out its her. And she literally tested positive like last week. Shes not even quarantining shes touching everything in the house and im 34 weeks pregnant. Im so scared that this is going to hurt my baby as theyre still so delicate. Im so scared shes going to infect me as thw virus is literally IN MY HOUSE !!!! UGGHHHHHH I HATE THIS AND IF I GET IT IM GOING TO BE SOO MAD THATS JUST IRRESPONSIBLE AND DISRESPECTFUL AS PREGNANT PEOPLE ARE OBVIOUSLY MORE PRONE TO GET THAT DISEASE😡😣😣😣😣

If she’s not quarantining as directed you can call the health department, shes spreading an infectious disease not to mention you’re pregnant and it’s unknown how it can effect you and baby

And a lot of women that’s pregnant has gotten it and baby is fine. 
You really need to worry about getting before delivery if we are tested positive for covid they won’t let us have a birth partner or see baby after it’s born for 14 days (some hospitals).

According to doctors You’re only contagious in the 48 hours BEFORE you have symptoms. So if she is positive and has been since last week she is likely not contagious anymore. My friend was positive but her fiancé never got it. They live together, sleep in the same bed and were not social distancing with each other.

It’s incredibly reckless and disrespectful of her to do that. I wouldn’t want to speak to her if it were me in your position where she’s knowingly putting me and my child at risk. But if it helps calm your nerves a little i had it last month and the baby and i are perfectly healthy now! I know not everyone is the same but we are fully recovered and he’s been kicking around just fine!

Relax. Odds are if u do end up with it, u may not even know it, or symptoms will be easily manageable at home. Your baby is fine. There’s no need to stress over something that could or could not even happen.
