a girl said she got the epidural so she could enjoy the moment and not be too exhausted after the birth, started to sound nice and like i might want to go for it if need be. But then i remembered all the horror stories i heard in person from other moms saying you can be paralyzed permanently, or how 2 of them have permanent back pain since then, and another said how it hurt more than a delivery (she had a prior kid with no epidural). Wondering what the chances are of this? and if any of you have had an experience like this, are you planning on getting an epidural??
