late period possible scare

so i had protected sex almost two months ago and ever since then my period has been completely out of wack. this month i did not have it at all. as far as i know he did not finish so the chances of me being pregnant are even slimmer i’m just wondering should i take a test or wait it out for my period to come. i’m almost a week late.
