Preeclampsia Risk

Hey ladies!

So I am 26 years old, first pregnancy, over weight but have never had any health concerns. No history of high blood pressure etc.

I am only 13 weeks pregnant and have had high blood pressure readings (above 140 over 90) and today was told I have quite a lot of protein in my urine.

I do not want this pregnancy to be a rough one and want to do anything in my power to prevent or lessen (?) preeclampsia.

I am going to be more proactive on hitting the elliptical now that I am feeling better and definitely want to improve eating habits now that I can stomach vegetables and other healthier options.

Any suggestions on what else I can do?
