After I delivered, I was having a hard time breast feeding & my baby was having a hard time latching, he was 3 weeks early. I ended up having to stay an extra day in the hospital because he wasn’t eating like he should be. I switched to formula, got him on somewhat of a schedule & got to come home. Took him to his pediatrician today & his bilirubin level is 17 & they’re concerned about his weight. I have to take him back tomorrow for a recheck but I’m super concerned. They want him eating 2 ounces every 3 hours but I can’t get him to stay awake during a feeding to get any more than an ounce to an ounce & a half in him. Has anyone else had this problem? I am so scared something is going to happen to him.
