Lasting during sex

My boyfriend used to last on average about 35 mins during sex, he’s recently been struggling to last last 5 mins. Can anyone please explain why and/or if this is just a phase every lad goes through, it’s affecting him quite a lot mentally

I think it’s more of a matter of frequency. If you use a lidocaine spray (which is a numbing agent that medical professionals utilize to take away feeling when doing invasive procedures) your husband probably won’t enjoy having sex and may not feel it. Additionally, the skin on the penis is thinner and could easily get irritated by a spray. Also, the lidocaine could be transferred to you during intercourse and could not only cause pain but numbness for you as well. Men tend to “last longer” if it hasn’t been long since their most recent ejaculation. The longer the time between ejaculations the quicker it can happen due to increased stimulation. Increased frequency of intercourse or “self care” can assist with this issue. Hope this helps!

My husband has the same thing happening. I always let him know it’s completely ok. My husband tells me it’s all about a mans health so if he eats “healthy” and exercised he’ll last longer. Maybe this numbing spray can help if you both want to try it out
