when did you announce to family and when did you announce to social media ??

I told my immediate family at 8 or 9 weeks, but asked them to keep it private until I was ready to announce publicly. I sent out pregnancy announcement cards to family and text friends who didn’t already know around 21 weeks. I wanted to enjoy the privacy while we could, it was nice. I haven’t publicly announced on social media. I’ve only posted 2 pictures during my pregnancy, and only one could anyone even suspect I was pregnant. We’re going out the weekend after Valentine’s and are hoping to take some pictures together all dressed up, I’ll be almost 37 weeks then. If the pictures turn out I might share and announce then, but honestly it’s been really nice not having too many people know.

We told out families at 10 and 11 weeks. I an high risk so I didnt want to say anything too soon although they already suspected. We had a very intimate gender reveal with just my family and I asked everyone not to post anything on social media since I really want to keep it private as long as possible. Obviously, there will come a time that someone (my parents or in laws) will post a pic of me and my belly will be showing but I def dont plan to have any type of formal announcement on social media. I dont care for other ppl knowing.
