Whats going on

December i had my period 9-the 12th totally normal period. I had a my first pap on the 17th. My period in January came and was very very light and was brown. It was mostly noticeable when I wiped, when I peed I had little brown flakes. I didn't even fill a liner in a day. Fast forward to this month I am currently 6 days late and got a bfn. Any thoughts of what might be going on?
