I’m 7 weeks postpartum. I just finished up my first postpartum period. My fiancé and I had sex tonight and the condom broke! I didn’t start my birth control yet after I picked it up today because there’s a warning about not using during breastfeeding - which I am - so I need to call my OB to see if it’s alright to take tomorrow.

As much as we would love another one we are far from being ready - not to mention the health risks involve of having children so close together. I know the chances of pregnancy are always there but, we’re super worried that it’d be just our luck to fall pregnant again - especially since, according to glow, I started my ovulation today. I know this could be inaccurate due to breastfeeding but still.

Would two weeks from now be too soon to take a test? Has this happened to anyone else and didn’t get pregnant?

I would also like to add that I have PCOS. However, during my pregnancy my ovaries looked normal and still are. Don’t know if it’s due to hormones or not but, I’m starting to wonder if the PCOS is actually PCOS or was a side effect from previous birth control.
