Birth control patch

So I’m not sure if I’m doing this wrong I HOPE NOT. But I started the patch on January 19th. I was supposed to get my period this week on February 9th. I took the patch off on Monday the 8th, cause I would have to replace it only if it wasn’t my period week. I have no patch on for like 4/5 days now and never started my period. Is this normal?
