I just found out through a letter that my midwife is quitting the birthing center she works for. I'm due in 6 weeks and I'm panicking. I'm not really sure the exact reason, from what I've heard from other women and what's been going around is shes suing them for decrimination or something like that. Sbe gave me the names of other midwifes in that birthing center, but the issue is in my last pregnancy I had one of there other midwives and did not like her. Sbe was honestly the only one I connected with, the others made me uncomfortable. So I may have to find a completely new birthing center. Has anyone had to find a new midwife this late into pregnancy?
