How can I reseal a heart chocolate box?

Question

I got a heart box of chocolates for Valentine’s Day for my boyfriend but I replaced the chocolates with mini bottles of whiskey. The box closes but not completely down it lifts a little because of the whiskey bottles, how can I close the box so that it’s secure and the top doesn’t come off? 
I tried ribbon but it doesn’t work because of the shape of the box, it just slides right down :(

Put it inside gift basket cellophane and tie a bow around the top.

Few dots of hot glue or go get the cellophane sheets and wrap it and hot glue the bottom like the whitman sampler boxes in the store. Will seal it but hide and bumps in the box too. I love whiskey so I highly approve of your gift haha. Would much rather have that most years (when no pregnant) than chocolate lol.

You could try candle wax or a hot glue gun. I did it before with bottles of alcohol the mini ones and cellophane red, Some green fake leaves, and the green tape that you can get from the craft store and I turn the bottles into roses each individual one was a rose and added the stem to it. A little tape and it looked just like a rose.

Use gift basket wrap in the part section at Walmart, and wrap a bow around the top of that like a gift basket 🥰
