UTI experiences?

Question

Anyone experienced having a UTI during pregnancy? Or at all? I think I might have one but I’ve never had one before so I’m not sure. My bladder hurts so bad when I pee and I constantly feel like I have to go but only a little comes out each time. I just did my routine pregnancy labs today which included a urine test. I haven’t got the results yet but I’m hesitant to go to the ER or anything since those are already being done. Any advice?

When I get uti's I chug cranberry juice and water. I had one right when I found out I was pregnant and it was gone pretty quick

I had one with my last pregnancy.  At my Kaiser they have you go to the Labor and Delivery department, not ER. They can test for the UTI there and also check on baby.

I have one right now , they just give you antibiotics, I also had multiple with me daughters pregnancy in 2013 and all was well.

Thanks for the comments ladies! I ended up going to the ER last night due to intense pain and blood in my urine. Baby is doing well, just a severe UTI. On antibiotics now :)

I went in soooo many times last pregnancy absolutely sure I had a uti for similar symptoms.  It was just my uterus putting pressure on my bladder though and creating issues.  I’m feeling the same this time around.  I’d call and ask if you can come in for a UA (can be with your primary, doesnt have to be with an OB if they can’t fit you in) UNLESS it gets worse over the weekend or you develop a fever, then I’d go to urgent care
