So I’m 33w2d with my second baby. My first I was induced at 39w5d because they thought my son was going to be a big baby and had him the next day. I had a vaginal birth with some tearing.

Anyway my husband was wanting me to be induced this time too. He works an hour away from home and once we are home, it’s another 20 minutes to the hospital. His work also is very very very strict on being late and time off(he works at Amazon if that tells you anything) He only gets 20 hours of UPT(unpaid time off) every three months and if he doesn’t have that to cover it he’ll get fired if he’s late or has to leave. That’s including the birth of his child. He gets 6 weeks of paternity leave, but it only starts until I’m in labor.

So if I’m induced it would be easier on him to plan everything out and to make sure he won’t get fired. But this is going to be our last baby, and I want to know what it feels like to go into labor naturally and to let my body do it’s thing. And I didn’t like having to be hooked up to pitocin. Idk what to do. Am I missing out on like the whole pregnancy experience if I never know what it’s like to go into labor naturally or is it not that big of a deal?
