Ovulation Strips plus a bit more
Hello, my husband and I have finally decided that it’s time to pregnancy prep (per ob/gyn recommendations). With what we’ve been told, we will be trying early June/ovulation at that time. I’m trying to prepare my body as much as possible. I’m taking prenatals and working out. Also, I’ll be stopping alcohol consumption about a month before we try (unless anyone recommends sooner, I don’t drink often anyways). I’ve been told by momma friends and the doctor, get ovulation strips. Which is great and dandy. However, how many do you use on average? I have ZERO idea and we aren’t announcing to the world we’re going to start trying in June. I’m sorry but I may be here for lots of help. I have some potential issues and I know stress can be a negative factor. Waiting to tell everyone is better. We have been married just over a year and together over nine so everyone is a ticking time bomb... I also turned 30 in January so, I never hear the end of it. I had some strips recommended to me a bit back, that are very decently priced on Amazon with good reviews. I’m wondering if I should get 50 or 100 though... I literally know you dip them in a cup and that’s all... it has an app (luckily) to help me read them. I’ve never tested for ovulation before and I’ve been on BC for over a decade... I started due to ovarian cysts (I’d been barely sexually active), so anything that will help me get started in a positive direction is MUCH appreciated!
