Periods are based off ovulation. The later you ovulate the later your cycle will be. No ovulation, no period. So if you are missing period it is usually due to ovulation issues. Some women think they miss cycles but it is actually a missed miscarriage or chemical that was not caught. I always recommend tracking your cycle so you know what is going on with your body!
