Shoveling while pregnant?

Question

Has anyone that lives in a snowy place shoveled?  I do not have to, but my husband is at work and I’d like to help him out.  We have a lot of are that needs to be done.  I also love shoveling...just wondering what anyone else is doing.  I’m a fairly fit person that works out daily.

I do all the normal things I’d do while pregnant. It’s not a handicap or disability.

It’s fine.  I did it with both my other pregnancies and one I was even 8-9 months pregnant lol just very tiring.

At this point you can do anything. Its so tiny and in your pelvis still.

Its fine as long as you feel fine!  If you feel like the snow is super heavy like packing snow, or theres alot of it and ur taking big piles at a time youll feel like its too heavy ao at that point take less or just let the husband do it but youll be fine

I've just been continuing on as normal. I don't have anyone to ask for help currently, so it all falls on me. I don't mind, I just notice that the fatigue makes me tired quicker.

Ughhh, shoveling is the bane of my existence from November to March. 😅 It's perfectly fine, you WILL NOT hurt your baby. The worst you can do is overwork yourself. Take it slow and stop if you're feeling especially exhausted or sore.

I shoveled a little for the dogs and brushed the snow covered in ice off my car. But i let him snowblow the driveway

It's fine,  I did it when I was in my 3rd trimester before.  My husband wasn't thrilled (he was working a lot and I was trying to help lol) but baby was fine.  Apparently one of his co-workers saw and almost had a heart attack as well 🤣🤣🤣

Shoveling is fine. I shoveled and got out our skid loader and did our barns and drives. Now I’m laying in the couch sleepy lol
