So back in 2018 I had a MC. It was fast and I was super early in the pregnancy. I got maybe a week to be happy that I was pregnant and then lost it. My dr never wanted to do a check up after or anything I bled a little over 4 weeks.

On February 9th of this year I had a sonogram and it had confirmed my baby stopped growing at 6+2 when I should’ve been 10+2.

My body was pretty much holding this baby hostage in me. My cervix wasn’t opening up, I was sick from it. The dr strongly suggested surgically removing would be the best option so I didn’t end up with a severe infection. Three days later (feb 12th) I went in to have them remove the baby plus a D&C.

They said everything went well. And I have to come back in two weeks for a check up.

My bleeding stopped by midnight the day I had surgery. I’ve been cramping since which is normal. I’m only on day 4 of recovery and I went to the bathroom this morning and notice this.

Compared to my last MC it came out on its own naturally. But this baby had to be surgically removed. I’ve never experienced it like this before. I don’t know if this would be considered “normal” in the healing process. But if anyone can tell me this is normal or if I need to call my dr and let them know that would help a lot!
