Last night we found out we were pregnant with our third, and it’s not planned (we are shocked as we had to actually try to get pregnant with our first two kids). I attached the picture below. Anyway, I took a test because I haven’t had my period for awhile and thought why not test to be safe (I had a few tests leftover from my last pregnancy). The thing is that I know I had my last period Dec. 11, but I don’t remember when I got my January period. I do remember telling my husband that my January period was also super short (only 4 days when normally mine are 8), it was much lighter (I didn’t even go through half a box of tampons), and I didn’t have cramping. It was an “easy” period you could say, which is not normal for me!

Anyway, the whole point of this post is that I was wondering if any of you called the doctor to schedule a scan to find out a due date in the first few months of pregnancy. I may only be 4-5 weeks along if my January period was actually a period, or I might be more like 8-10 weeks along. It would just be nice to know. Plus the last few weekends my husband and I have enjoyed some bottles of wine so I’m freaking out that has harmed the baby if I’m further along. 😞

Sorry about the long post. I just don’t have anyone to talk to besides for my husband as we are trying to keep this a secret for now since it is such a surprise for us!
