Who doesn’t get along with there MIl

Ladies for those who don’t get along with there mother in law and why ? Just wana hear some stories

Because shes selfish, petty, manipulative, uncaring, unkind, and borderline toxic.

Yep, I am not a fan of my MIL! In the lead up to our wedding she was super demanding and opinionated about our choices but as she hadn’t financially contributed she got no say and we are still paying for it.
With little sniping comments like saying I am fussy if I want to buy my own car seat that will fit in my car etc. She will invite everyone in the family on a family holiday but “forget” to ask my hubby if he would like to come.
She shreds everyone’s life choices and when we are around and her other kids are not she launches into hours long tirades of breaking down all of their life choices and what terrible decisions they have made.... I just sit there and wonder what the hell she says about us when we are not there and don’t believe anything she says about her kids. I just think it is such poor form to criticise one of your kids to their sibling, even when they are adults.
I know my MIL has been diagnosed with depression but I am sure she has a personality disorder too. So I am always polite and don’t bite when she insults me but she makes me never want to visit and I dread any family engagements that necessitate spending time with her.
Oh and my FIL assaulted my mother on my wedding day. Needless to say, if I knew how badly behaved they were before the wedding, there probably wouldn’t have been one. I do love my husband but it is so crap having miserable in-laws. 
Even though they have behaved appalling, my parents don’t say anything bad about them and are always courteous. I am so grateful that they love me enough to do that for me but it makes me feel so guilty.
