Are Braxton Hicks just cramps?

I’m a ftm. I’m 37 weeks. & I’m getting random little cramping here and there. It’s pretty mild like a period cramp. Is that what that is or are cramps just normal pregnancy cramps lol idk

BH for me are period like cramping, and if I pressed on my lower belly, it was rock hard (early on), now my uterus extends to my rib cage and there’s no question when it’s hard as a rock 😂😂

BH for me don’t feel like cramps they don’t really feel like anything except tightness and my whole belly tenses up.
