Baby heart defects ?

Question

Has anyone been told you baby might have something wrong ?? I got by test from my anatomy scan and am scared at what the results says and doctor hasn’t reached out to me yet ... 
please anyone gone there this should I be worry or idk sorry I haven’t slept since I got the results .....

They just didn't see everything. You need a follow up. Happened with my second baby. With my first, she has a congenital defect of the aorta (non life threatening) and believe me, when something is abnormal, a doctor comes in the ultrasound room and takes over from the tech.

Don’t worry!!!This is just saying they couldn’t get pics of everything they needed on the day. It’s super common ( in fact at my 20 week ultrasound that was one of the first things the tech said to me “ if we can’t get everything we will bring you back”). If they spotted something wrong they would’ve had a doc in straight away or you’d be told to come back to see a MFM specialist. They won’t half-ass anything got to do with the heart and it is really hard to get a good image of it(it’s only the size of your thumb nail). Relax if you can and think of the extra pics of baby in a week or two 😍😍

That just says they didn’t get those views not that there’s anything wrong. It says you need to return for the anatomy they couldn’t see. Totally normal. It’s more typical to have to have a repeat anatomy scan than to get all the views in one go just because they need so many different shots and baby may or may not be in conducive positions to get all the pictures.

Same with mine girl. Everything was just fine just poor fetal lie and couldn't get good pictures of the heart. And according to this baby's weight was 10oz exactly at 19 weeks 5 days but saying it's in the 16th percentile. I'm a small person and my husband is built but has a high metabolism. Dont worry girl baby will just be fine.

It just sounds like baby wasn’t positioned in a way for them to be able to see the ventricles properly

They just need baby to be in a different position to get these. I had to go back 3 times to get all of the heart scans done. It’s just what they haven’t been physically able to see because baby wasn’t cooperating

Sometimes they don’t capture everything that they need on the first ultrasound and need to do another. This happened with my first. I don’t see any indication that something is wrong, just that they didn’t get good pictures of the ventricles. I’m not a professional and could certainly be missing something, but that’s how I read it.

They weren’t able to get a good view of it or see parts of it like they needed to. Doesn’t mean anything is wrong. I had to go back for a follow up anatomy scan because they couldn’t see parts of the heart they needed to. Baby was fine, he just didn’t wanna cooperate the first time.
