I know growth scan weights are only an estimate and can be out by a fair way but I’m feeling quite nervous after my 36 week growth scan today 🥺 at 32 weeks baby was est 5lb 2oz. Today at 36 weeks s/he was est 7lbs 7oz! I’m a ftm so haven’t done this before and I am feeling a little overwhelmed and quite apprehensive about giving birth to a large baby. I saw on one born every minute ages ago way before I was pregnant a woman whose baby got stuck, shoulder distocia and it was so traumatic for the poor mum and obv baby was at risk coz they couldn’t get it out and that’s all I keep thinking about now and whether I will be able to do it and whether my baby will be ok.

Does anyone have any tips how I can calm down about this all please? They want to do another growth scan at 39 weeks but it feels an age between now and then or when baby arrives.
