Letrozole before fallopian tube test ?

Is it safe to take Letrozole capsules even before getting your fallopian tubes checked ? 
I'm not ovulating so the doctor has advised to take Letrozole. Please advise .

I don’t ovulate either and just had my HSG test done as well. We’ve done four months with Letrozole but the month I had my test done we did not take it.
