Absolutely. My youngest turns 3 this summer and I still check her breathing when she falls asleep near me

Haven’t stopped since she was born lol

I still check my 9 and 11 year old 😂

My kids are 7 and 9 and I still have to check them before I go to bed 😳 lol

I used to. And we used a movement sensor in his crib until he was about 16months old. I don't specifically check for breathing anymore, but I do still check on him over the video monitor constantly!

I use to when she was a baby, I would always keep her door open a little so it was easy to sneak in and have a listen. My mom use to check on me as a teen if I slept in late. She scared me once because I woke up to her leaning over me... I scared her when I woke up so abruptly. She said she couldn't tell if I was breathing from the door... so I guess it's just something you always do 🤷🏻♀️
