Anyone else not qualify for their second maternity leave due to the line up of covid and their first pregnancy? I’m trying to get the government to under that they chose to shut down my work and are now punishing me for not working. I didn’t get the 2000$ income because every time my hotel would of gotten business they went and did a government shutdown. I didn’t go work at McDonald’s (which isn’t even hiring in my area anyways) as not having work in December is literally unheard of at my work. (I dont qualify by one week btw) my due date is April 23 so they will go back to dec 27 2018 but I started mat leave with my son in January 3 2019 due to being put on bed rest. So they will only count one week of pay not even. I’m looking to see if anyone is in similar situations and what they did about it
