Ovulation

So this past year I haven’t been ovulating, I was put on new medicine to make me ovulate this month obviously. My question is do women normally ovulate for two days? Because I’m on day 2 and my lines aren’t getting lighter. I’m new to the ovulation game. So please help me out.
