A few weeks ago I thought I had a uti so I went to urgent care and they put me on antibiotics. Four days later I felt worse and thought maybe I had a yeast infection but I wasn't sure so I went to my ob. She agreed it looked like yeast, but I tested negative for everything. She still treated it like yeast and prescribed me those 2 pills. I felt better for a few days, then I had my period. Now that I'm off my period I feel like I'm inflamed down there. I'm thinking it could be group b strep. I had it during one of my pregnancies in 2019 and they treated it because I have kidney issues and it could affect it. I was pregnant last year (I lost my daughter in Nov) and I noticed from the all the prenatal testing it said I had gbs in my urine but they never treated me for it then. So I probably still have it? Has anyone had vag irritation from gbs? I know it usually doesn't come with symptoms but I'm miserable right now.
