So this is a late post but I had my baby on January 16, 2021. He was due January 13. But it was about 10 in the p.m. and me and my boyfriend was laying in bed. I kept having sharp pains that felt like they would wrap from my back all the way to my uterus. But I didn't wanna say anything and cause alarm and it be nothing so I sat through it for 2 hours. I got up to try and take a shower to see if it would help. Well when I got back into bed I felt my water break and asked my boyfriend to look. He looked and started screaming "THERES BLOOD ARE YOU OKAY IM CALLING 911". I should've told him there's a reason they call it the bloody show. He called 911 and it took them 15 minutes to get there and they refused to let my boyfriend to ride with me. One of the ems people rode in the back with me to let him sit up front since I was in labor. Well we get to the hospital to find out the driver didn't allow him in so now I'm there alone. He went and bought a truck and came to the hospital. I was in labor for almost 5 hours at this point and they transfer me to another hospital. We get there and do my epidural and then waited for me to feel like I needed to push. My son never dropped during my pregnancy so they had to push him down. They told me I would have to do a c-section because my uterus is tilted. And then my babys heart rate started dipping. It kept going from 130 to 60 and they said they would have to cut him out soon if they couldn't stabilize it. They left and I felt like I was about to start pushing so l hit my epidural button for the first time, waited the 20 minutes for it to refill and pressed it again then called the nurses. They went to check my cervix and felt his head. They said they would have to vacuum him out so he would be delivered fast. I refused and started pushing as soon as they put my legs up. I started pushing at 12:03 and had him at 12:15 exactly. So 12 minutes I pushed. And yes this was my first. They gave me 8 stitches. Some inside and then from hole to hole. But here he is.
