Why does breastfeeding feel SO dang good

I hope I don’t sound like a total weirdo but bf feels so good. Hard to explain just the sucking and the emptying out of my boobs and the closeness to my baby feels wonderful. Anyone else?

Yes it’s the same kind of relief as when you are bursting to pee and you finally get to go 😄

I’m still struggling .. for me its uncomfortable still, getting better but not 100%! I had cracked nipples, trush and mastitis one after the other.. hopefully smooth sailing from now on! But I’m happy baby is gaining weight

It doesn’t feel good physically to me. It feels good emotionally. I feel fulfilled and connected to my baby. But nothing about the actual sucking feels “good”

I used to love the feeling of after my baby ate after sleeping all night. She’d eat and then I’d pump the rest and the feeling of being empty was such a relief. I absolutely hate the sucking feeling though

I’m just thinking about my cracked nipples even with the nipple cream. They don’t get enough time to heal. Lord have mercy.
